1940's Exquisite Chidrens Rug
Incredibly rare find and not the typical vibe here but so good! Reminiscent of the kind of charming illustration style that was typical of the period with a warmth and character you just don’t see anymore, add to the fact it’s hand tufted it really is special. Great use of colour, perspective and symmetry it is pure lambswool, and has been fully cleaned ready for use. Some wear in the centre section but not structural and is perfect to use as is, even better as a wall hanging or if you’re really keen could frame it. Gorgeous eighty year old piece.
