1980's Calligaris Dining Chairs POA
The best of the best from the eighties in exceptional condition. Luxury manufacturer Calligaris (Italy) have really nailed it with these chairs. If you like post modern or Memphis vibes these are your dining chairs. Highly unusual all the front legs have a subtle under sweep given the chair an unusual poise and sense of movement. The rear legs are elongated triangles and remain at right angles to the curvature in the back which creates a cross pattern as the angle in. Horizontal lines (so characteristic of he eighties) present front and rear on the back with the whole frame being finished in black satin lacquer. The seat pads are highest quality hide leather and are stitched on the edges. Even the things you guys won’t see (we have fully disassembled and cleaned these) is that the screws all have threaded brass inserts for attachment. High quality, extremely expensive and rare set of chairs.
