1980's Poltrona Frau Armchair Three Piece Set
If you are one of those rare folk who are familiar with this brand you will know there is no better quality brand on the face of the earth for leather furniture. Given the colour way there is plenty of patina and signs of the approximately thirty five years of life lived, perfect if you have kids, pets or just generally don’t want to be precious about your furniture. That being said they OOOZE quality and if you know how to style them and don’t mind some patina they are a grand and super cool addition to the right space. Also given the colour they could style in with a boho or beach house style aesthetic as well as the highly sculptural post modern aesthetic look in some of the pics here.
Poltrona Frau were appointed as supplier to the Italian royal family in the early days of their inception and in later times have also made under select contract interiors for Maserati, Bugatti and Ferrari to name a few. Based on current Poltrona Frau pricing this set would have been the equivalent of around 18k when new!
