1987 Omega Art Series Watch
Rare futuristic piece and an anomaly in the world of Omega. Futuristic and minimalistic design it was called the art series and engaged prominent designers to add their own designs to the back of the case. Only 999 of each design was produced. Beautiful Zen like dial with contrasting date and the very classy and subdued Omega logo done in a subtle reflective finish…a timeless, tonal masterpiece! Very bold was the use of ceramic for the case which is why it still almost looks like a new watch despite being 35 years old. Oversized for the time this is a 40mm case not including the crown and has the original (very hard to find) stitchless Omega strap with plenty of life still left in it. This watch has been fully serviced including several new old stock Omega parts replaced so with the occasional battery change will give years of enjoyment. One for collectors or any design enthusiasts wanting a high fashion piece with some great history. Comes with original case which practically don’t exist out there in the watch world.
