Stunning Sofa designed as part of a 20 module collection by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia in 1986. This sofa is in great vintage condition and it’s generous size and dynamic sculptural appeal add practicality and aesthetic appeal to your space.
Like your favourite pair of cargo pants this very earthy green colour way is reminiscent of army apparel and other military hardware with its very khaki/dark brownish olive tones…however you wish to describe it. That being said it is a definitely one of the colours of nature and is soothing to be around yet dark enough to be practical for everyday life. Like ninety percent of vintage sofas (the fabric ones) there is some light pilling on the main contact points which add to its vintage appeal and is about the only subtle sign of the years gone by on this VERY good condition sofa! Not a stain on this anywhere the fabric is soft to the touch, thick, durable and has many of years of memories to go in in yet. All foam and webbing is solid and needs no attention. This his has been fully upholstery cleaned, covers washed, leather conditioned etc etc. Nothing to do but take delivery and start enjoying this wonderful piece of Italian design.
